UK Flyers

PLANNING YOUR CAMPAIGN

Many of us want to make a difference the issue is quite often the logistics involved with doing so.

Key questions is how can I make a difference with the time and money I have available to me.

Time?

What time do I have to promote in my local town and city and also can I help promote A Stand In The Park at other events to people like us at marches and events.

How Many Flyers?

The next question is how many flyers do I need to print? Can I team up with others in my stand  or can several stands come together to print leaflets collectively to share the cost?

Self Print or Commercial Printer?

Depends upon money and time !

More details on printing can be found here

PROMOTE A STAND IN THE PARK TO THE FREEDOM MOVEMENT

Grow A Stand In The Park regionally and nationally. People attending marches and other events have already made up their mind about the events going on around us, they are the easiest people to recruit to our stands to expand our numbers.

There is little to do in the way of providing information.  They may need to be reminded of ASITP or helped with finding out where there local park is!.

MORE DETAILS ON PRINTING

If you have access to a printer many of the flyers can be self printed.

Some laser printers can be very cost effecting if just printing in black and white

But if printing a lot of colour leaflets might be best to team up with more people from your or multiple stands and ordering a large quantity.

10,000 colour A6 leaflets can be as little as £60 – £70 !

Do I print on my home printer or do I engage a professional printer ?

It depends if you have access to a printer, if you do it depends on the type of printer, the cost per print, the work after the print,  do I need to cut up flyers.  There is a basic rule of thumb based on numbers

No of flyers

Type

Description

100 – 1000

Self Print

Flyers designed for home printing – minimal use of colour

> 500

Commercial Printing

Full colour documents designed for being sent to a printer

Should I print my own Self Print flyers or use a Commercial Printer

Do you have enough days to get a commercial print run turned around?

Sometimes commercial printers can turn around a job in 24-48hrs.

If its late afternoon and you need them for tomorrow morning print off the self print ones

Are you going to spend £20 or more on ink and paper

Use a commercial printer it’s easier and less fiddly

Do you want a more professional finish

Use a commercial printer

Can you share the cost with others

Use a commercial printer

How much work is involved in self print flyers

You will need a pair of scissors or if printing a lot of flyers it will be easier with a paper guillotine

Should I be worried about the QR codes ?

QR Codes are as safe as the person or organisation as they are from. If you trust A Stand In The Park then you should trust our QR Codes.

Information on the security of QR codes can be found at Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code#Risks

Can we recommend a commercial printer ?

Yes we use Solopress but the flyers we have designed can be printed by most commercial printers
